Exoprosopa rutila (Pallas & Wiedemann, 1818)

Phylum: Arthropoda. Clase: Insecta. Orden: Diptera. Familia: Bombyliidae.

EOS 6D + Canon 180 mm + duplicador; 1/25; f/11; ISO 1600; trípode.

El ejemplar de la fotografía según la experta que la ha identificado (Piluca Álvarez de Biodiversidad Virtual), es una hembra.

El género en España consta de 9 especies.

La fotografía es de El Puerto (Ateca) en julio de 2019.

  1. As stated by Stanford Medical, It is in fact the one and ONLY reason women in this country get to live 10 years more and weigh on average 42 lbs less than us.

    (And actually, it has totally NOTHING to do with genetics or some hard exercise and really, EVERYTHING to do with "how" they are eating.)
